Ho Ho Ho, it’s time for trees, menorahs, and scotch. We will be featuring a massively rare bottle Macallan, along with other scotch and traditional British ale.
We’ll have a potluck with dinner and treats at MacLeod Ale Brewing Co., owned by LASC members Jennifer and Alastair. We’ll have an ugly sweater contest with the winner getting the beautiful crystal decanter.
THE FEATURE
Macallan 25 yo 1964 ‘M’ Crystal Decanter
Ever heard of the ‘M’ Series Macallan that goes for $5000? Well this is his big brother. This version of the M was distilled in 1964 and placed in a Tudor decanter. More importantly, because we are people who drink rare whisky rather than look at it, this whisky was made back in the days when, quite frankly, Macallan made better whisky. Reviews for the bottles of the era are phenomenal and this bottle has come to us at far less than the skyhigh retail prices that have priced us out of elite bottles such as these.
