Scotland is full of distilleries we love. We see them all the time. We buy them all the time. We recycle the bottle with a tear in our eye. But what about those ‘other distilleries’ whose names litter the map of Scotland and make it difficult to locate what we want. What are they? Do we care? Do they care if we care?
Many distilleries in Scotland serve to make blends. They’re big, sometimes even old, and they know what they’re doing. Since they don’t have a single malt presence (or have a very bad PR team) we don’t bother with them. HOWEVER, this is a scotch club, and NOTHING gets by our spoiled palates which are always yearning for the new.
Pours will each be a FULL OZ. Traditional summer BBQ included.
