Two very important  groups began in Pasadena in 2006…. LA Scotch Club and the Pasadena Scottish pipe band.  The Pasadena pipers will be celebrating with a concert in San Marino on April 3rd, with an afterparty at Griffins of Kinsale in South Pasadena to follow.  Since the world headquarters of Duncan Taylor is just down the street, we’re going to do a DUNCAN TAYLOR scotch tasting hosted by whisky ambassador Peter Currie, the voice made famous in our pronunciation guide. Pipes and Drams – $45. Drams only – $30. Pipes only – $22 (you are still welcome to attend Griffins of Kinsale.
